Aubameyang Speaks After Leading Gabon to Victory Over Harambee Stars

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang demonstrated his brilliance on social media following his outstanding performance as Gabon defeated Kenya.

Aubameyang netted two goals to sentence Harambee Stars to a 2-1 loss at the packed Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday night.

The ex-Arsenal and Chelsea forward found the net twice before halftime, with one being a precisely placed effort in the lower corner and the other from the spot, guaranteeing his team secured all three points in Nairobi.

His opposite number Michael Olunga halved the deficit but Kenya failed to complete the comeback as they did four days ago against the Gambia.

Aubameyang subsequently went to his X account and expressed gratitude to Kenyans for the remarkable welcome he received.

"Kenya was furious. Thank you for the warm reception," he remarked.
