Chinese household appliance giant Haier has unveiled a front-load washer that can manage up to three distinct laundry loads at once, earning it the nickname “the couch potato’s washing machine” from some observers.
The innovative feature of this model includes three distinct drums at the front, enabling users to launder outerwear and underwear independently. In China, many individuals have customarily refrained from using washing machines for delicate garments like lingerie, opting rather for manual washing methods.
Haier introduced a novel appliance through its Leader line aimed at attracting young buyers. This device includes two upper compartments designed for handling up to 1 kg of clothing per load, along with one large compartment beneath capable of managing 10.5 kg of garments. The layout of these sections has led some observers to draw parallels between their arrangement and the iconic image of Mickey Mouse from The Walt Disney Company.
